Glasses for Kids

In Term 1 2027, Wooranna Park Primary School are lucky to be partnering with Glasses for Kids (GFK), a government-funded early intervention program that helps identify and address vision issues that may impact students’ learning and wellbeing.

The program offers free vision screening, further vision testing where required, and glasses at no cost for consenting students in Prep to Grade 3, including students who already wear glasses.

All screening and testing will take place during school hours and on school grounds, making it easy for students to access this valuable service! This is a valuable opportunity to help ensure your child has the best possible chance to thrive in the classroom. Early detection of vision issues can make a real difference to their educational journey.

For more information, please refer to the consent form sent home with your child, or scan the QR code below.

If you would like your child/ren treated, then please complete the form that was sent home or download a copy online. Forms need to be returned to the office before 4pm on Friday 11 December.

If you have any questions about the program, please contact us on 9795 2007.
