Students at Wooranna Park Primary School belong to one of four houses named after Australian animals, as selected by our students in 2023:

Students earn points for their house through achievements and demonstration of school values throughout the school. House points are collected weekly and an overall winner is announced, entitling students with special privileges in the following week.  Our team of the team is also announced at the final assembly of the school term, and year. A perpetual trophy is awarded each year to the winning House. Year Six students can apply to be House Captains of their house and are voted in at the end of each year, ready for the new year.

Our house system aims to foster a sense of belonging, teamwork, and friendly competition among our learning community.
